Elizabeth Jones

Elizabeth Ann Jones, 74, of Jonesboro, died Saturday, may 10, 2008, at Jonesboro Health and Rehab Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Meridian, Mississippi, Mrs. Jones lived several years in Jackson, Mississippi before moving to Jonesboro in 1998. She was a retired Registered Nurse and worked many years in Hinds Hospital in Jackson.

Mrs. Jones was a 1957 graduate of the University of Mississippi where she was a member of Chi Omega Fraternity. She was a member of the American Nursing Association and a member of the Baptist church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Jones of Meadville, Mississippi.

Survivors include:

Her daughter and son-in-law: Shelia and Hoppy Hoffman of Jonesboro; and

3 grandchildren: Hoppy, Chase and Mary Elizabeth Hoffman, all of Jonesboro.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
