Elfreeda Tosh

Elfreeda Tosh, age 77, of Jonesboro,Arkansas, died Thursday morning, December 1, 2005, at St Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Mrs. Tosh was born in Cushman, Arkansas, then moved to Jonesboro where she lived most of her life. She was a retired Engineering Supervisor for Frolic Footwear where she worked over 30 years. She was a member of the Nettleton Baptist Church where she was a member of the Sonshine Sunday School Class.

Mrs. Tosh was a member of the Forest Home Extension Homemakers Club and was named a Paul Harris Fellow by the Jonesboro Rotary Club. She was preceded in death by her parents: Lee and Ethel Clark Holloway; and by a brother, Culon “Holly” Holloway.

Survivors include: 3 Sons and Daughters-in-law: Gary and Susie Tosh, Lynn Tosh, and Mike and Kathy Tosh, all of Jonesboro;

3 Daughters and Sons-in-law: Rhonda and Brent Cline, Sherri Roberts, and Staci and Calvin Sparrow, all of Jonesboro;

3 Sisters and Brother-in-law: Eva and Doyle Hughes of Palm Bay, Florida, Velma Healey of Jasper, Georgia, and Mary Thorne of Alpharetta, Georgia;

11 Grandchildren: Butch Tosh, Andrea Wood, Keri Tosh, Tina Brumley, Bethany Tosh Circle, Lindsey Tosh, Courtney Cline, David Roberts, Brandi Hunt, Brittani Roberts and Josh Sparrow;

8 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 3, 2005, afternoon at 2:00 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Stan Ballard, Harold Ray and Craig Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers include: Josh Sparrow, Butch Tosh, David Thorne, Dwight Tosh, Gene Tosh, and David Roberts.

Honorary pallbearers include: members of the Sonshine Sunday School Class, Forest Home Extension Homemakers Club, Doyle Hughes, Tommy Thorne, Tamasa Thorne, Hunter Thorne, Dr. William Hubbard, Dr. Sanders McKee, Tommy and Gwen Morgan, Doyle Hughes, Jr., James Hughes, Alan Brewer, Terrie Brewer, Jerry and Ann Bozarth, and Tim and Kim Eaker.

Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5-7 at Emerson Funeral Home.

For lasting memorials, the family asks that consideration be given to the American Lung Association, The Learning Center, or Nettleton Baptist Church.
