Edwin Alberto Gonzalez

Edwin Alberto Vargas Gonzalez, 50, of Batesville, Arkansas died Monday, December 28, 2009 at White River Medical Center. He was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, and has lived in Batesville for the past nine years, moving there from Chicago, Illinois. He was of the Catholic belief, and worked and loved elderly people while doing transportation the last 25 years. He was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Jamie Gonzalez, of the home; one daughter Alicia Wycough and husband Anthoney of Batesville; two sons, Erik Gonzalez and Alex Gonzalez, both of the home; two grandchildren, Anthoney Wycough and Jamie Wycough, both of Batesville; mother-in-law, Hope Lawrence of Tuckerman, Arkansas; 5 brother in laws, 2 sisters-in-law, 3 nieces, 9 nephews and many aunts, uncles and cousins, including his favorite Aunt Peggy and Uncle Bill Lawrence.
