Edwin Lee Beal

Edwin Lee Beal, 89, of Jonesboro, formerly of Fisher, departed this life on Saturday, July 29, 2023 with his family by his side. He was born April 27, 1934 in Fisher, Arkansas to the late John and Iva Beal.

Raised in Fisher, Edwin was a lifetime farmer, who loved working on his farm. When he wasn’t on the farm working, he enjoyed fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family. Edwin was a member of the Fisher First Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by; one sister, Roberta Williams.

He is survived by; his wife of 64 years, Catherine Beal of the home; children, Jonathan and Lola Beal of Jonesboro, Edwina and Joey Glaub of Jonesboro; six grandchildren, Lee and Jacquelynn Beal, Cody and Olivia Sanders, Bret Sanders, Kaitlin and Cody Phillips, Joshua and Jacy Glaub, and Joseph Glaub; three great-grandchildren, Jonny Dale Beal, Indi Phillips, Aria Phillips; two nieces, Becky Steel, Cindy Vaupel; special close friend, John Darter; and a lifetime of friends.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, August 2, 2023 starting at 10:00 a.m. at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Don Blackmore officiating the service. Active pallbearers will include; Lee Beal, Cody Phillips, Cody Sanders, Joseph Glaub, Joshua Glaub, and Joey Glaub.
