Edward Allen Winford

Edward A. Winford, 84, of Lake City, Arkansas departed this life May 6, 2021. He was a navy veteran serving during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his late wife, Jo Winford, two sons, Bobby Winford and Tom Winford, his parents, Clarence and Gladys Winford, four brothers, and three sisters.

He is survived by one son, Ron Winford; daughters, Ann Wharton and Cheyenne Mcmurry; seven grandchildren, Amanda, Tracy, Diana, Alex, Alyssa, Robert, Thomas, and Kenora; Eight great grandchildren.

He was a great roofer by trade, owning and operating Winford Roofing with his brother, Donnie. He loved fishing, hunting and running turtle nets. He loved the outdoors but more importantly he loved his family and friends. He was loved by many and will be terribly missed.

A visitation will be from 11-12 pm Saturday, May 15, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Lake City.

A funeral service will follow at 12 pm Saturday, May 15, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Lake City with Jon Milligan speaking. Burial will be private.

The family request that lasting memorials be made to the First Baptist Church of Lake City.
