Edward Garland

Edward “Eddie” Garland, 45, son of Jerry and Carol Garland of Jonesboro, passed away Wednesday in Kimerling City, Missouri of natural causes.

Born in Newport, he lived most of his life in Jonesboro before moving to Kimerling City.
He was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran and an arborist.

In addition to his parents, survivors include:

2 Sons: Jeremy Garland, and
Jaimie Garland, both of Jonesboro;

1 Daughter: Sara Garland of Conway;

2 Sisters: Lisa Stauber of Marion, and
Jeri Garland of Conway;

1 Brother: Jimmy Garland of Jonesboro;

Maternal Grandfather: Rufus White, Sr. of Newport.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother: Cathaline White, and his paternal grandparents: John and Alma Garland.

Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 at the Pennington Cemetery in Jackson County with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 5-8 at Emerson Funeral Home.
