Edna Ruth Qualls

Edna Ruth Qualls, 79, of Lake City, died Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at her home of natural causes.

Edna was born in Lake City and lived all of her life there. She was a homemaker and a member of Bowman Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, WO Qualls, and by her parents, Ed and Willie Thompson South.

Survivors include 2 sons and daughters-in-law: Gary and Patti Qualls of Monette, and Teddy and Donna Qualls of Lake City;

1 daughter and son-in-law: Marsha and Greg James of Lake City;

1 brother, Ray South of Lake City;

3 sisters: Marie Wall, Ruby Caldwell, and Ida Barker, all of Lake City;

2 grandsons and their wives: Brannon and Ronna Qualls, and Braden and Kourtnei Qualls, and 2 great grandchildren, Annalee Qualls and Waydelee Qualls, all of Lake City.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Bryce Holmes officiating, with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held Friday evening, 6-8, at Emerson Funeral Home.
