Edna Kelley McDaniel, 90, of Paragould, Arkansas died Friday, March 21, 2008 at Arkansas Methodist Hospital. She had lived in Paragould for the past eight years, moving there from Jonesboro. She was a member of the Faith Temple Church of Paragould. She was an accomplished seamstress enjoying crochet and knitting and making quilts for her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband H. A. “Buster” McDaniel, her parents, two brothers, one sister, two daughters, one son and four grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, Jerry and Brenda Kelley, Paragould; daughters, Audrey and Lee Patella, Colorado Springs, Colorado; Johnnie Pruitt, Jackson, Missouri; Kathy Kelley, Paragould; one brother Buddy Kelley, Belle Glade, Florida; sisters, Ruby Armour, Cash, Arkansas; Katherine Chism, Little Rock, Arkansas 17 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 22, 2008 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bill Bass and Delbert Russell officiating with burial to follow at Johnson Cemetery near Cash. Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are George Johnson, Kenneth Fields, Wayne Horton, Marvin Stokes, Tony Gramling, and James Ward.
