Edna Florean Ivie

Florean Ivie, 79 of Walnut Ridge passed from this life Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. She was born to Markus Guy Hancock and Dora Ann Davis Hancock on July 2, 1937 in Greene County. Florean was of the Pentecostal belief and a homemaker. She enjoyed singing and playing the accordion and piano. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother and sister.

Survivors include: 2 sons, Markus Ellison (Sherry), Rex Ellison, all of Walnut Ridge; daughter, Laury McGinty (Terry) of Walnut Ridge; sister, Mame Baker of Illinois; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, August 22, 2016 from 1-2 pm at Emerson Memorial Chapel with service starting at 2 pm with Bro. David Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Lorado Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Pallbearers will be Joe Ham, Matt McQuay, Tyler Ellison, Christian Ellison, Dalton Ellison, Allen Blackwell and Sam Holder.
