Edna Mae Harbison

November 27, 1931 — November 19, 2020

Edna Mae Harbison, 88, of Jonesboro, died Thursday evening at St. Elizabeth’s Place in Jonesboro.  She was born in the Stranger’s Home Community to Doctor Lawrence and Etter May Counts Simmons.  Edna retired from Lincoln Manufacturing.  Her strong Christian beliefs were a staple for the Harbison household.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Buford L. Harbison; Son, Talmadge B. Harbison; son-in-law, Danny Ring Sr.; great grandchild, Alex Watts; brothers, Orville Simmons, and Gilbert Simmons; sisters, Florence Dunn, Lucille Bartlett, Bonnie Loehr, Inez Lee, Pirley Wood, and Alta Choate.

Survivors include her son, Milton Wayne Harbison of Jonesboro; daughters, Elaine White, (Frank) of Little Rock; Sandra Ring of Lowell, Arkansas; Angelia Vinson (Rick) of Birmingham; daughter-in-law, Nancy Pelzel-Harbison, 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
