Eddie Wayne Schreier, of Brookland, Arkansas passed away on March 25, 2026, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro at the age of 67. He was born on August 29, 1958, in Kansas City, Missouri, to the late Forrest Jr and Joyce (Adams) Schreier.
He was born and raised in the Excelsior Springs area. Eddie was a retired construction worker who took great pride in the work of his hands. Outside of his career, he found joy in the simple things in life. He loved fishing, hunting, spending time working alongside his children, and tinkering on his truck, which he treasured. He was also a fan of watching westerns, often enjoying the stories and characters they brought to life.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Forrest Eugene Schreier, and one sister, Darla Schreier Hendricks.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patty Schreier of the home; three sons, Jason Schreier of Independence Mo. Cole Mooney (Kimberly) of the home and Jere Mooney (Brittany) of Jonesboro; one stepdaughter, Sarah Jackson of Bates. City Missouri; three brothers, David Schreier of Henrietta, MO, Steven Schreier of Excelsior Springs MO and Terry Schreier of Excelsior Springs Mo. Two sisters, Rhonda Penrod (Wayne) of Orrick, MO .and Tammy (Kirk), Keasling of Excelsior Springs Mo.; eleven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild he spoke of often and was a big part of his heart and life. He also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 12:00pm at Pine Log Cemetery, Brookland, AR
In lieu of flowers, family are asking contributions be made to: Cole Mooney to help the cost of his services.
