Eddie "Ed" White

Eddie “Ed” White, 52, of Brookland, died Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. He had lived in Brookland for eight years, moving here from Rector. Ed was of the Christian belief. He was the Brookland Trap Team Coach and was preceded in death by his father, Stanley White.

Survivors include son, Kalab White of Brookland; daughter, Jolene Young of Trout, Louisiana; mother, Margie White of Piggott; brother, Dwayne White (Lisa) of Roscoe, Illinois; sister, Penny Shewmon (Jeff) of Earlville, Illinois; many cousins, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and a host of many friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday morning, November 24, 2012 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with John Kemlo officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery with Kerry Murray, Jim Magee, Billy McGee, Joe Nichols, Doug Williams, Dennis Williams and Layman Kaiser serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 9 until service time on Saturday.
