Eddie Lee Davis Jr.

Eddie Lee Davis, 56, of Rivervale passed from this life on June 14, 2017 at St. Bernards Medical Center.

Eddie Davis Jr. was born on December 31, 1960 in Memphis, TN to the late Eddie Sr. and Betty Jane Hubbard Davis. He lived in the Caraway and Rivervale area for the last thirty nine years, and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Black Oak. He and his wife attended the Rivervale Baptist Church in Rivervale. His hobbies included hunting and watching NASCAR on the television. He was a very loving and giving man that will be missed dearly by his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Davis of the home; daughter, Vanessa (Tim) Hall of Jonesboro; five grandchildren, Arden Hall, Landon, Hall, Katie Nowlin, Jacob Nowlin, and Chase Hall; brother-in-laws and sister-in-law, Lowell Hanner of Jonesboro, Roy Hollands of Caraway, and Lonnie and Susie Anderson of Caraway; and a host nephews and nieces.

Funeral service will be Saturday morning at 10am at Rivervale Baptist Church in Rivervale with Terry Tacker officiating. Interment will take place at Caraway Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements. Pallbearers will be Tim Hall, Wayne Roach, Sammy Lewis, Dale Barrett, John Pendegraft, and Nick Nowlin. Honorary pallbearers are Wesley Sanders, Rudy Anderson, and Steven Sanders.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-7pm at the Rivervale Baptist Church.
