Earl Talmage Rook, Jr.

Earl Talmage Rook, Jr., 66, of Ash Flat died Thursday at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Rook is survived by wife, Sharon Rook of Hardy; two sons, Tim Rook and wife, Glenda, of Jonesboro, and Tony Rook and wife, Jennifer, of Ash Flat; one brother, Larry Rook of Jonesboro; two sisters, Pearl Erby of Jonesboro, and Joyce Eloise Dundas of Ash Flat; and five grandchildren, Michael, Austin, Erica Jo, Walker, and Tara Rook.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Talmage Rook and Daisy (Mitchell) Rook; one brother, Harold Rook; and one sister Diane Rook.

Graveside services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Strawfloor Cemetery with Reverend Mitch Ford officiating. Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro has charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Brian Rook, Keith Rook, Dean Rook, Mike Cook, Dean Peace, and Justin Curtis.

Visitation will be Saturday evening from 5-7 at Emerson Funeral Home.
