Earl Parks, 64, of Bono, died July 9, 2012 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born in Osceola and had lived in northeast Arkansas his entire life. He was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Bono and loved listening to music of all kinds. He had attended the Little Rock School for the Blind and also enjoyed wrestling and taking walks.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Carolyn Parks, Bono; his son, Timothy Parks, Sr., Walnut, Mississippi; daughters, Tina (Chris) Adams, Harrisburg, Karen (Marvin) Moore, West Virginia; brother, Raymond Parks, Poughkeepsie; sisters, Shirley Johnson, Bolivar, Tennessee, Linda Cogburn, Leachville; 6 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Franklin & Beulla Westbrook Parks; a grandson, Timothy Parks, Jr.; sister, Dorothy Taylor; and brothers, Billy Parks and Willie Parks
Graveside services will be July 12, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Pine Hill Cemetery. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Charles Riley, Jamie Riley, Shelton Riley, Robbie Dowdy, Bubby Howard, and Tyler Carmichael.
Visitation will be July 12, 2012 from noon – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
