Earl L. Noah, 87, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Tuesday November 15, 2016 at his home. He was born in St. Charles, Missouri on May 19, 1929 to the late Samuel and Bonnie Lavy Noah. Earl attended public schools in St. Charles, Missouri, graduating high school class of 1947. Earl had lived in Jonesboro since 1951, and worked for Jeter Hardware Company until late 1969 then he became employed by E.C. Barton Building Materials Company until he retired.
He married the late Diane McFarlin on July 16, 1972, was a loving husband and was happily married to his loving wife for 43 years before his wife passing in April 2015. He was a member of the Highland Drive Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Noah and brother, Dale Noah.
Survived by his daughter, Cynthia Noah of Beebe, Arkansas.
Brother, Roy Noah of O’Fallon, Missouri.
Sister, Alice Oberdick of New Nelle, Missouri.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. November 17, 2016 in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Hutchison officiating. Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
There will be no visitation.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert (Skip) Covington, Harold Copenhaver, Austin Copenhaver, Myles Copenhaver, Michael Nunnally, Brooks Lacky, Jim Penny, Doyle McCain and Bill Nelson.
