Dwight Eugene Davis

January 8, 1947 — October 15, 2007

Dwight Eugene Davis, 60, of Lake City died Monday at his home. He had lived in Lake City all of his life. He was self-employed in the tree business and was a veteran of the Army.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Judy Greeno Davis, of the home; five sons, Chris Turner of Branson, MO; Mark, Keith, Brett, and Colton Davis, all of Lake City; two daughters, Carla Ward of West Memphis and Kasey Davis of Lake City; two brothers, Kenneth Davis of Russellville and Kenny Davis of Springdale; four sisters, Brenda Cahoon of Lake City, Rebecca Bishop of Camden, Lisa Barnes of Jonesboro, and Cindy Davis of Walnut Ridge; and nine grandchildren, Morgan, Danielle, Dylan, Jagger, Timothy, and Marcus Davis, Zachary and Paige Turner, and Tater Tot.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Shelby Junior and Elsie Coursey Davis; and one sister, Vickie Waters.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Pine Log Cemetery with Jason Goad officiating and Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be from 12:30 – 1:15 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Mark, Keith, Brett, Colton, and Kenneth Davis and Delton Cahoon.
