Duke Lee Nelson, 69, of Trumann, formerly of Racine, Wisconsin, passed away on October 10, 2026 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro. He was born in Racine, Wisconsin on April 8, 1957 to Marshall Nelson and Lucy Ann (Jaskulsky) Nelson.

Duke loved playing video games and spending time outdoors fishing. He was an animal lover and enjoyed being around people. He was always friendly and never met a stranger.

In addition to his parents, Marshall and Lucy Ann, Duke was preceded in death by two brothers.

He is survived by his sisters, Marcia Nelson of Mt. Pleasant, Wisconsin and her husband, Dennis Felton, and Victoria Nelson of Jonesboro; his sister-in-law, Candy Nelson; and several nieces and nephews.
