Dr.David C. Loe

David C. Loe, 67, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at his home. He was born in Jonesboro, Louisiana and moved to Jonesboro, Arkansas in 1973, from Orange, California. He was of the Baptist Belief and was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Henderson Loe.

David received his doctorate in psychology from the University of Southern California and taught full time at Arkansas State University for three years before starting his private practice in 1976. In addition to his private practice and consultation with local law enforcement agencies, he continued to teach part-time for Arkansas State University.

Survivors include his wife, Carol J. Loe, of the home; daughter, Angela D. Hamilton, Wardell, Missouri; son, David H. Loe, Hurst Texas; two grandchildren, Gavin H. Loe, and Katherine S. Loe; mother, Eleanor P. King, Hot Springs, Arkansas;. Step-mother Rosemary Loe, Gulfport Mississippi; four step-sisters, Sandra Johnson, Alabaster, Alabama; Sherry Schorr, Bossier City, Louisiana; Shelia Crumpley, Flower Mound, Texas; and Sonja Oxley, Longview, Texas. All services will be private.
