Drake Ford Sloan

Drake Ford Sloan, 17, of Jonesboro passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at his home. He was born August 2, 2002 in Jonesboro. Drake was a senior at Nettleton High School and was in FFA. He attended Central Baptist Church. Drake loved the outdoors and he enjoyed deer and duck hunting.

Drake was preceded in death by maternal grandfathers, Mark Ford, Joe Robertson; maternal great grandparents, Alton and Betty Woods; paternal great grandparents, Charles and Mary Katherine Ross, Calvin and Audrey Sloan and great grandfather, Louie Dunn.

Survivors include his mother, Melanie (Kurt) Robertson; father, Jason (Stephanie Davidson) Sloan; sister, Whitney Ford; maternal grandparents, Ron and Sharon Dunn; paternal grandparents, Larry and Kay Sloan and grandmother, Linda Robertson all of Jonesboro.

Funeral service will be Friday, July 17, 2020 at 2:00 pm in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Wayne Clark and Don Blackmore officiating.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the service.

The latest Arkansas Health Department Directives for large gatherings in the state allows Emerson Funeral Home Chapel to accommodate a maximum of 150 persons simultaneously. Face coverings must be worn to enter the building and social distancing will be in effect.
