Dovie M. Gipson

Dovie M Gipson, 89 of Lake City, Arkansas died Thursday, May 11, 2006 at Lake City. She was born in Sedgewick, Arkansas and lived most of her life in the Lake City area. She was of the General Baptist belief and was preceded in death by her son, Willie Alvin Thompson.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, May 13, 2006 at Refuge General Baptist Church in Lake City with Rev. Johnny Gipson and Bro. Larry Ward officiating with burial to follow in Old Military Cemetery near Sedgewick. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers are Darrell Thompson, Lance Taylor, Harvey Edward Faulkner, Jake Gilley, Benny Martin, and Roy Pack. Honorary pallbearers are Harvey Thompson, Keith Taylor, Dallas Richey, Earl Thompson, and A. C. Daniel.

Visitation will be from 5 – 7 Friday at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
