Douglas Shingler

Douglas Shingler, 59 of Jonesboro passed from this life Friday, August 5, 2022 at St. Bernards Medical Center.  He was born  March 19, 1963 to Harold and Anna Denney Shingler in Oneida, New York.  Douglas has lived in Jonesboro since 2006 coming from New York.  He was a truck driver.  Douglas was a ham radio operator, storm chaser, he enjoyed building things, he loved his dog and cats and most of all he loved his grand kids.  Douglas is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Butch, Tom and Ron; sisters, Patricia, Pam and Dee.

Survivors include his wife, Kelle Shingler of the home; sons, John Shingler of Jonesboro, Douglas Shingler, Jr. of Utica, New York; daughters, Jessica Benson of New York, Charity Shingler of New York, Amy Shingler of New York, Heather and James Dishlacoff of New York and Nicole Scott of Paragould; brother, Rick Shingler of New York; sisters, Mary Hutchings and Shirley Hoffert both of New York and many, many grandchildren.
