Douglas Jenkins Jr.

Douglas Wayne Jenkins Jr. age 45 of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas departed this life August 21, 2024 at his home in Walnut Ridge, Ar. He was born on September 13th, 1978 in Wynne, Arkansas. The son of the late Douglas Sr., and Regina Jenkins.

Doug was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Sr.

He is survived by his mother, Regina Jenkins, his wife, Samantha Jenkins, sisters Joyce Jenkins (Mike), Lorri Ralston (Scott), and Tammie Rodriguez (Jacob). He is also survived by his four sons, Dalton Cassels (Jessie) of Millington, TN. Hunter Jenkins of Sedgewick, AR, Gage Cassels (Daegen) of Bono, AR and Bradyn Jenkins of the home. Doug owned a trucking company and enjoyed hunting with his sons and friends. Doug and Samantha were married 12 years. He was of the Baptist faith.

The family will receive friends for visitation at Emerson Funeral Home Chapel in Jonesboro, AR on Friday, August 23rd at 1:30 pm. Graveside service will follow at Trinity Cemetery in Bono. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Oak Hill General Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge, AR.

Pallbearers are Hunter Jenkins, Bradyn Jenkins, Dalton Cassels, Gage Cassels, Lynn Smith, Brett Gann, Taylor Isom, Branden Wood, and Adrian Rodriquez. Honorary Pallbearers are all of Doug’s trucking buddies.
