Douglas Hundley

Doug Hundley, 72, of Jonesboro died Friday, August, 28, 2009, at NEA Baptist Medical Center. He had lived in Jonesboro for the past 15 years, moving here from Columbus, Mississippi and was of the Church of Christ faith. He retired with 32 years of service from NCR Corporation and served four years in the US Air Force. Doug loved gardening, growing flowers, and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Vaniece Hundley, one sister, Rosemary Hundley Grisham, and daughter Susan Hundley Whitaker.

Doug is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lynda, of the home; sons, Douglas Hundley, Wynne, Arkansas; John Hundley, Jonesboro; Don Calcote, Memphis, Teneessee; daughters, Debra Hundley, Senatobia, Mississippi; Dianne Hall, Cedar Park, Texas; brother, Carroll Hundley and wife Shirley, Jonesboro; and eleven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Monday, August 31, 2009 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Reverend Patty Soward and Reverend Carlton Cross officiating with burial to follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers are David Hundley, Daniel Hundley, Forrest Grisham, Matt Garrett, Douglas Hundley and Dustin Hundley.

Honorary pallbearers are Bill Inboden, Max Parsons, Thomas Reeves, Jimmy Grisham, Steve Morris, Dan Morris, Randy Hall and former co-workers at NCR.

Visitation will be Monday afternoon from 1:00 until service time.
