Douglas E. Huffman

Douglas Edwin Huffman passed away Friday, December 11, 2009 in Malvern, Arkansas at the age of 62.

He was born May 31, 1947 in St.Louis, Missouri to Delton and Kathryn Huffman. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Dr. Huffman held a PhD in Statistics from Clemson University and was an associate professor at Arkansas State University for several years. He was an officer in the Army National Guard from 1975 to 1982.

Survivors include two sons, Brian and Jeremy, a daughter, Mindy, and three grandsons, Tyler Douglas, Shane and Jaxon, all of Jonesboro; his parents, Delton and Kathryn Huffman, of Little Rock; a brother and sister-in-law, DC and Judy Huffman, of Memphis; a sister and brother-in-law, Kathey and Randy Harden of Little Rock.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday at Emerson Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until service time. Burial is private.
