Doug (Mallet) Loggins

January 28, 1955 — November 12, 2007

Doug “Mallet” Loggins, 52, of Jonesboro, died Monday, November 12, 2007, at St. Bernards Medical Center. He lived most of his life in the Jonesboro area and was of the Baptist belief. He was preceded in death by his father, Shirley Loggins and one brother, Jerry Loggins.

Survivors for Doug include his wife, Pam Loggins, of the home; sons, Doug Loggins Jr., and Steven Mayville, Jonesboro; one daughter, Kimberly Loggins, Jonesboro; mother, Jane Loggins, Jonesboro; brothers, Gary “Murt” Loggins and Kenny Loggins, Jonesboro; sisters, Sue King, Linda Gibson, Gail Baker, Debbie McDaniel all of Jonesboro, Nancy Loggins, Memphis Tennessee and Shirl Gray, Martinsburg, West Virginia, and grandchild, Alexis Mayville, Jonesboro.

Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, November 15, 2007 at Pine Hill Cemetery with Bob Kinnett officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Bobby McGhee, Scotty Childers, Randy Blake, Jeff Rainbolt, Danny Fuller, William Gann, and Bobby Hadl. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Darrell Ragland, Dr. Lance Tuetken, Curry Loggains, Robert Loggains, Johnny Loggins, Larry Loggins, Jeff Loggins, Phillip Loggins, Kenneth Loggins, Leroy Loggins and Floyd Loggins. Immediately following the burial, lunch and fellowship will be at Grace Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 5 – 8 Wednesday night at Emerson Memorial Chapel.
