Dottie Lynn Carolyn Cherry

Dottie Lynn Carolyn Cherry of Jonesboro, Arkansas, departed this life on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at the age of 79. She was born on August 7, 1942, in Batesville.
Dottie was a member of the Washington Avenue Church of Christ in Jonesboro. She always enjoyed competing in the Special Olympics. She would spend time latch hooking or taking care of babies. You could always find Dottie watching the Price Is Right and other game shows. She would spend time with her family and loved hanging out with her little sister Nona.
In addition to her parents Dottie Lynn was preceded by one sister Ruth Cherry and one brother-in-law Opal Holland.
She is survived by one brother, Tom (Denise) Cherry of Hopkinsville, KY; three sisters, Julia (Colbert) Crouch of Cave City, AR, Georgia Holland of Hopkinsville, KY, and Nona Cherry of Jonesboro; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit the funeral home Friday, January 28, 2022, starting at 4:00 p.m. and ending at 6:00 p.m. Graveside services will be Monday, January 31, 2022, at Rosedale Cemetery in Pembroke, KY starting at 12:00 p.m.
