Dorothy M. Ackerman

Dorothy M. Ackerman, 87, of Jonesboro died Tuesday morning at her home. She had lived in Jonesboro for three years, moving here from Millerstown, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd J. Ackerman Jr.; a daughter, Victoria Sartin; one son Richard Heagy; her parents, Earl and Caroline Royer; and one sister, Helen Buch.

Dorothy is survived by grandsons Robert Sartin and wife Rachel, Jonesboro; Tony Sartin and wife Paula, Memphis, Tennessee; stepson, Lloyd “Bo” V. Ackerman III, Washingtonboro Pennsylvania; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
