Dorothy Louise Henry, 71, of Jonesboro, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015, at St. Bernards Medical Center.
Born in Caraway, Dorothy lived most of her life in Jonesboro. She was retired from General Electric in Jonesboro where she worked for 32 years. Dorothy was a member of Greensboro Road Church of Christ and was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents: Charlie and Allie Jeffers Jones; 1 brother, Preston Jones; and 1 nephew, Tim Baugh.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Gerald Henry of the home, married August 24, 1965;
1 son, David Henry of Jonesboro;
2 daughters, Susan Henry and Cindy Henry, both of Paragould;
1 brother, Verlion Jones (Betty) of Alton, Illinois;
5 sisters: Bobbie Roth (Frank) of St. Louis, Mickey Baugh of Lake City, and Peggy Robert, Judy Tate and Brenda Kennon (David) all of Jonesboro; and
1 grandson, Evan Henry of Jonesboro.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Terry Joe Kee and Bill Willard officiating. Burial will follow in Herman Cemetery.
Active pallbearers include Todd Huson, Tim Eaker, Rick Baugh, Mike Swindle, Chris Jones and Richie Tate.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
