Dorothy H. Peters

Dorothy H. Peters, 82, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, died Thursday, May 1, 2008, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Stovall, North Carolina, Mrs. Peters was a devoted and faithful Navy wife who followed her husband, Dr. Earl R. Peters, through his 30 years of active duty service as a Pediatrician. She was a loving and dedicated mother.

Dorothy lived several years in Virginia Beach before moving to Jonesboro in 2005. She was a member of Little Creek Chapel in Virginia Beach and was a member of the Navy Wives Club. She was preceded in death by her husband.

Survivors include:
Her son and daughter-in-law: Larry Peters and Cindy Crews of Jonesboro;

Her daughter and son-in-law: Linda and Ernest Bligen of Seattle;

1 Sister: Marion Giannasi of Richmond, Virginia; and

4 Grandchildren: Brandon Crews, Dr. Tracy Crews, Tianne Bligen and Taneccia Bligen.

There will be a private entombment on Tuesday in the Greenwood Memorial Gardens in Richmond, Virginia. There will be no visitation.
