Dorothy G. Edgar

Dorothy G. Edgar, 81 of Spring Hill Florida, formerly of Jonesboro died Tuesday, August 21, 2007. She graduated from Jonesboro High School and Hendrix College. Mrs. Edgar was a retired vocal music teacher for the Jonesboro Public School at Annie Camp Junior High School. She was a member of the First Methodist Church Choir, the Forth Quarter Club, Nocture Music Club, and Retired Music Teachers.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Elvin T. Edgar, her parents, and one son. Survivors include one son, Bill Edgar of Springhill, Florida. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 25, 2007 at First Methodist Chapel in Jonesboro with Reverend John Miles officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will be private.
