Dorothy Elaine Clark

Dorothy Elaine Clark, 82, of Jonesboro went to be with the Lord Saturday, March 9 ^th , 2019 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice with her family by her side.

She was born to the late Ottis John and Arvella McDaniel on September 6, 1936 in Jonesboro. Dorothy has resided in Jonesboro since 1970 after spending the earlier part her life living in Flint, Michigan. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at St. Bernard’s for 18 years. Dorothy was very active member of North Main Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Clark, sister, Barbara Ann McDaniel and brother, Valney McDaniel.

Dorothy is survived by three sons, Jerry L. Clark, Byron L. Clark, and Duane I. Clark all of Jonesboro; one daughter, Athena K. (Billy) Morgan of Jonesboro; two brothers, Johnny(Penny) McDaniel of Millington, Michigan and Arthur(Marcey) McDaniel of Florida; three sisters, Wanda Patterson of Jonesboro, Mary(Jim) Foster of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Patty McDaniel of Florida; two grandchildren, Robert( Dawn) Morgan and Christopher( Cheyenne) Morgan both of Jonesboro; and two great grandchildren, Jennifer Morgan and Kayleigh Morgan both of Jonesboro.

A visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm Thursday, March 14, 2019 at North Main Baptist Church.

Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm Thursday, March 14, 2019 at North Main Baptist Church with Brother Gary Brown officiating. Burial will follow at McDaniel Cemetery with active pallbearers being: Billy Morgan, Christopher Morgan, Robert Morgan, Johnny McDaniel, Arthur McDaniel, and William Jordan.
