Doris Haff

Doris Haff, 84, of Brookland passed from this life Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born on June 25, 1933 in Paragould to the late Wes and Lorene Lawrence. Doris was a lifelong resident of Brookland where she was also a member of Brookland United Methodist Church.

Doris served in the Cafeteria at Brookland High School for over 29 years of service.

In addition to her parents, Doris is preceded in death by her husband: J.P. Haff; daughter: Jan Gifford; and brother: Gerald Lawrence.

Doris is survived by her children: Jerry Don (Shelia) Haff and Ann Wilson (Mark Ainley) both of Jonesboro; three grandchildren: Sean (Shannon) Haff, Nick Haff, and Jamie (Hunter) Smith; and three great grandchildren: Hayes Haff, Taylor Haff, and Jarrett Brown. Family wanted to give a special thanks to Francis Smith who was Doris’s lifelong friend and caregiver and a special thanks to Kim Tinnon.

A visitation will be from 1-2pm Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Emerson Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be a 2pm October 28, 2017 at Emerson Funeral Home with Rick Hathcoat officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with active pallbearers being: Rickey Glenn, Rodney Glenn, Randy Glenn, Jarrett Brown, Hayes Haff, and Jack Tarver.
