Doris Jean Bond

Doris Jean Bond, 55, of Bay passed from this life Sunday, April 6, 2014 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. Doris was born in Trumann to the late Horace and Georgia Birdsong on July 4, 1958. She lived in Bay all of her life and was a member of the Providence Baptist Church. Doris was also a loving mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her loving husband Gordon Bond of the home. Son; Kevin Bond (Cyndi) and their children: Hunter Bond and Mika Weaver all of Monette. Daughter; Kristy Bond and her children: Haley Nichole Bond and Jackson Lee Bond all of Bay. Sisters; Wilma Webb and Anna Cope both of Jonesboro and Pat Holt of Stokesdale, North Carolina.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother David Mote officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jerry Webb, Bobby Webb, Brian Webb, Brad Hickey, Brett Scott, and Shannon Walker.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00-7:00 PM at Emerson Funeral Home.
