Donnie Wright

Donnie Wright, 55, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Monday, July 2 ^nd , 2018 at his home.

Donnie was born on July 14 ^th , 1962 to the late Thomas Eugene Right and Helen Geneva Wright, in Corning. He lived most of his life in Jonesboro and was a member of Faith Tabernacle.

In addition to his parents, Donnie is preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas Wright and Lula Wright; daughter, Angela Wright; brother, John “Bud” Wright; sisters, Sue Tilley, Peggy McCullough and Diane Harrell; and a nephew, Steven Martin.

He is survived by sons, Blake Wright of Corning and “Little Donnie’ of St. Louis, MO; daughter, Ashley Wright of Rector; sisters, Geneva (John) Buckley of Cahokia, IL, Brenda (Robert) Egan of St. Peters, MO, and Carolyn (Wayne) Smith of O’Fallon, MO; sister in law, Joanne Wright of Corning, widow of Bud Wright; grandchild, Lane Hunter of Rector; his best friends, Peggy Tilley and Michael Tilley of Jonesboro and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, July 6 ^th , 2018 at Pine Log Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are John Buckley, Robert Egan, Wayne Smith, Josh Smith and Michael Tilley.
