Donnie O’Brien, 56, a lifetime resident of Trumann, passed away on August 21, 2023, at the NEA Baptist Hospital. He was born on September 10, 1966, in Harrisburg, Arkansas to Don and Sheila O’Brien. He worked most of his life as an automotive mechanic. He recently started woodworking as a new hobby. He loved to hunt, fish and watch his kids play their sports. Spending time with his family was a priority in his life, and he never met a stranger. He was a man anyone could come to for anything.
Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Tabitha Douglas O’Brien, of the home; sons, Zachary O’Brien, Dillon O’Brien, Nate Douglas, Trevor Echols; daughters, Savannah O’Brien, Brianna (Dustin) Hanna, and Gracyn O’Brien; parents, Don and Sheila O’Brien; sisters, Kathy Stracener, and Beverly (Scotty) Hisaw; grandsons, Garrett, Mason, Oakley, Gunner, River, Cash and Lawson; granddaughters, Avery and Greenlee; previous wife, Tina Franks; 4 nieces, 4 great nieces and 2 great nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, August 24. 2023, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Dale Davis officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery with Jock Latiolais, Chris Warren, James Don Bailey, Earnie Links, Corey Tate and Johnny Whitman serving as pallbearers.
