Donnie Lee Tinsley

Donnie Lee Tinsley, 68, of Black Canyon City, Arizona, formerly of Jonesboro, a U.S. Marine veteran of the Vietnam War, died Thursday, September 21, 2017, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.

Donnie was born February 18, 1949, in Jonesboro to Charles W. and Carrie Kersey Tinsley and for many years enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Betty Tinsley and Francis Dobson; and a daughter, Ashley Montgomery.

Survivors include 3 brothers: Herman Tinsley, Harold Tinsley and twin brother Donald Tinsley;
2 sisters: Mittie Stallings and Gretchen Pruitt; and
2 granddaughters: Makayla Montgomery and Addison Montgomery.

Visitation will be 9:30 -10:30 a.m. Friday at Emerson Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service with military honors will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday in Shiloh Cemetery with Terry Joe Kee officiating and the U.S. Marines Honors Team presiding.

Active pallbearers include Eric Grant, Mike Kee, Cabern Kee, Shannon Roberson, Donald Tinsley and Mike Stevens.
