Donnie Lou Hunter

Donnie Lou Hunter, 75, of Jonesboro went to Heaven Tuesday December 31, 2019 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born February 18, 1944 in Walnut Ridge to the late Hershel and Ruby Moody.

Donnie Lou has lived in Jonesboro since 1971 after moving back from Illinois. She loved to paint, read, and take care of her grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly Marie Hunter; sisters, Jeanette Dorris, Terrie Branham and Mildred Petro; brothers, Jerry Moody and Bud Moody; a grandchild, Baby John Davis and a brother in law, Robert Hunter.

Donnie Lou is survived by her husband of 58 years, Earl Hunter of the home; sons, Brian Hunter and Glenn Hunter both of Jonesboro; daughter, Sheila (John) Davis of Jonesboro; brothers, Hershel Gene Moody and Ronnie Moody both of Walnut Ridge; sister, Theresa Robbins of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Shanna Glidewell of Jonesboro, Damon Davis of Jonesboro, Savannah (Timmy) Klimetz of Jonesboro, Courtney (Brody) Moore of Jonesboro, Amber Davis of Caraway, Kerry Faith Davis of Bono, Samantha Hunter and Jacob Hunter both of Cash; brothers in law, Danny (Marie) Hunter of Jonesboro and Bill (Johnetta) Hunter of Lafe; sisters in law, Lewanda Holcomb and Nettie Dever both of Rock Falls, IL; 8 great-grandchildren and her best friend, cousin, sister in law, Glenda Sue Casper of Arizona.
