Donnie Horton

Donnie Horton, 72, of Paragould passed from this life on Sunday March 4, 2018 at the Baptist Hospital in Memphis. Donnie was born in Aurora, Illinois on September 3, 1945 to the late Ernest and Irene Spencer Horton. Donnie had lived in Paragould for 14 years, moving there from Jonesboro. He was a self employed carpenter, and loved to work with cedar. Donnie was a U.S. Marine and of the Baptist belief.
In addition to his parents, Donnie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Pearlie Hanners and a sister, Evo Donavan.

Survived by his wife, Mary Horton of the home.

Sons, Donald Wayne Horton of Salem, Wayne Horton of Paragould and Shannon Lynn Horton of Jonesboro.
Brother, Ray Horton of Trumann.

Sister, Tina Sirk of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
4 grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday March 7, 2018 at Pine Log Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on Wednesday March 7, 2018 at Emerson Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Larry Don Lambert, Rex Holiday, Paul Tribble, Pete Porterfield, Lynn Hardin and Terry Lingerfilter.
