Donna Mae Smith

Donna Ryan Smith, 91, of Jonesboro, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at Ridgecrest Nursing Center. She was born August 10, 1934 in Walcott to the late Marvin A. and Mary (Willcockson) Ryan. Donna graduated from Greene County Tech and later attended Draughon’s Business College in Memphis. Following college, she worked at Planters Bank and Trust. Donna was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church for over 60 years and sang with the Trebletones for 30 years.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Al Smith; her son, Brandon Smith; her daughter, Tammy Smith; four brothers, Allyn, Glen, Bob and L.V. Ryan and one sister, Clarice Lovelace.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracy (Jeff) Holt of Paragould; her sister, Peggy Dunn of Paragould; three grandchildren, Lauren Clark of Jonesboro, Tanner Holt of Paragould, and Haven (Seth) Vaughn of Searcy; and three great-grandchildren, Mace and Maxx Clark, both of Jonesboro and Siris Vaughn.

Funeral service will be Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Emerson Memorial Chapel at 10:00 a.m. with Bro. Jay Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 a.m. prior to the service.
