Donna Jean Miller

Donna Jean Miller, 51, of Jonesboro passed from this life Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at her home. She was born on June 30, 1964 in Brinkley. After coming from Mountain Home, Donna spent 38 years residing in Jonesboro and was a member of Valley View Church of Christ. She loved making flower arrangements, arts and crafts, reading books, and hunting. Donna was also very involved with the Native American Indian heritage. Donna will be honored in Hardy at the Turtle Island Native American Association Pow Wow in Loberg Park.

Donna is preceded in death by her grandparents: Joe and Opal Head; one uncle: Carl Head; one nephew: Joseph "Bubba" Head; and Father in law: Floran “Punk” Miller.

Donna is survived by her husband, Jim Miller, of 23 years; parents: Jerry “Pop” Hunt and Clare Martin of Jonesboro; two sons: Ryan Miller and Cole Miller both of Jonesboro; one brother: George (Laura) Compton III of Cabot; one sister: Lisa (Carl) Sebesta of Jonesboro; one mother in law: Audry Miller; four nieces: Terra Hartley, Cheyenne Hartley, Kayla Compton, and Brianna Compton; three nephews: Tommy Owens, Justin Hartley, and Keith Compton; one aunt: Diane Emerson; and several friends and extended family members.

A visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Emerson Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Emerson Funeral Home with David Gibson officiating.
