Donna Lee Kukura, 74, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Thursday December 15, 2016 at the Craighead Co. Nursing Center. She was born in Phillipsburg, NJ on December 17, 1941 to the late Donald and Violet Walters Williams. Donna lived in Jonesboro since 1984, moving here from Hot Springs. She had many jobs including being a waitress, hostess, sold real estate for a time, and then finally retired as a security guard.
Her hobbies included sewing, knitting, crocheting, embroidery and watching scary movies. Donna was of the Presbyterian belief. She was also loved and will be missed by the residents and staff of Craighead Nursing Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a step son, Andy Kukura.
Survived by her son, Dale Grimm (Ann) of Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Daughters, Andrea Kukura of Jonesboro, Lisa Barker (Tony) of Stafford, VA. and Jackie Stephenson (Rodney) of Harrisburg, Arkansas.
Brother, Greg Williams of Monroe, New York.
Niece, Debbie Haber (Jerry) Monroe, New York. 1 grand niece and 1 grand nephew.
6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her step-children whom she loved, Kim Ritter (Ken), Donna Wrescics (Donny), Steve Kukura (Dawn) and Kris Moore. 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. One daughter- in-law Kathy Kukura of Houston, Texas.
A memorial service was held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday December 19, 2016 at the Grace Community Church, 2701 Woodsprings road with Pastor Nevin Gnagey officiating. Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
