Donna Marie Chetister

Donna Marie Chetister, 54 of Jonesboro died Sunday November 5, at N.E.A. Medical Center in Jonesboro .
Born in Toledo , Ohio , she lived in Jonesboro for fourteen and half years after moving here.
While living in Toledo , she spent 23 years as a visual merchandiser for J.C. Penny’s, and also took art lessons at the Toledo Museum of Arts. Upon moving to Jonesboro where she became a prominent muralist and painter, Donna co-founded the Winter Wonderland eleven years ago.
She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and was preceded in death by her father, Carl Capehart, one brother, Carl Capehart, and one sister Vicki Capehart.
Survivors include her husband of 33 years: Alan Chetister Sr. of the home.
One son: Alan Chetister Jr. and his wife Addy of Jonesboro.
One daughter: Alison Burton of Jonesboro .
Her Mother: Ann (Halada) Capehart of Toledo , Ohio
Three sisters: Robbi Calhoun of Cincinnati , Ohio .
Jonie Hensley of Canton , Ohio
Laura Corb of Toledo , Ohio
Three Grandchildren: Taylor Marie Burton, Kylen Issiah Thomas, and Emily Shea Thomas.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday November 9, 2006 at Blessed Sacrament Church, with Father Mark Wood officiating. Burial will be at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Alan Chetister Jr., Gary Howe, Doug Nester, Sonny Fowler, Forrest Burton and Greg Spooner.
Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Wednesday November 8, at the Emerson Memorial Chapel, with a Rosary at 6:45 P.M.
In lieu of flowers the family request that lasting memorial be made to the Jonesboro Church Health Center.
Open house will be from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. Sunday November 12, at 407 Hillside Drive, Rossford.
