Donald G. Mcbride

Donald G. McBride, known to his friends as ‘Mac’, passed away on April 25, 2022. He was born in Sessor, Illinois on January 22, 1931.

He was married for 53 years and is preceded in death by his wife Billi, a grandson Ryan McBride and son-in-law Bruce Livingston. He is survived by Rick McBride & his wife Jackie of Jonesboro, AR, Bill McBride & his wife Pam of Jonesboro, Chris & Dee McBride of Royal, AR, and Melissa McBride Livingston of Jonesboro, AR., five grandchildren: Lisa Gueno, Shelly Brown, Grady McBride, Mitch Livingston, Kelsey Livingston and 12 great grandchildren.

Mac was a Korean War Veteran having served in the Air Force from 1951 to 1955 as a medical technician.  He graduated from Little Rock University and worked as an accountant and financial officer for Norris Dispensers in Hot Springs Arkansas and Fairfield Bay Resorts in Little Rock.

Mac also ran an accounting business in Hot Springs Arkansas for a number of years where he kept financial books and did taxes for several businesses.  He and his wife Billi lived in Hot Springs for almost 54 years, were members of the First Lutheran Church there and had many friends and business associates throughout the area.

Mac will be interred at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at Birdeye, Ark. .

A family memorial service will be held in Jonesboro, date and location pending
