Donald Ray Mann, 70, of Paragould passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at St. Bernards Medical Center.
Donnie was born in Lake City and had lived all his life in Northeast Arkansas. After high school he served his country during the Vietnam War with the U.S. Army. He retired from F.M.C. and Thomas & Betts. He was of the Baptist belief, and was also a Mason. His hobbies included duck hunting, fishing, gardening, and being with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Robbie Reed Mann; one brother, Gene Ed Mann; and his beloved 21 year old cat, Buttermilk.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Mann of Paragould; two daughters, Donna Mann of Jonesboro and Marla Anderson and her fiancé Chad Goodman of Paragould; two grandchildren, Hunter and Meghan Wilkerson of Paragould; five siblings, JoEtta (Bill) Strickland, Judy Mann, Effie (Charles) Nichols, Bobby Mann, and Bud (Annette) Mann all of Lake City; and several nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Donnie's gofund me page set up to help cover his medical costs.
