Donald Hood

Donald Hood, 78 of Jonesboro, died Monday, January 28, 2013 at his home. He had lived in Jonesboro for the past 31 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Shirley Hood, of the home; sons, David Hood and Roger Hood of Jonesboro; Eddie Hood and Donnie Hood of Aurora, Illinois; Bradley Hood of Florida; Steve Hood and sister, Angela Hood of Jonesboro; brother, Edgar Hood and sister Sarah Wilson of Paragould; Lavelle Reed of McDonald, Georgia; seventeen grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, of Friday, February 1, 2013 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. James Warbington officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 until service time on Friday at Emerson Memorial Chapel.
