Donald G. Henry

Donald “Don” Henry, 77, of Jonesboro died Thursday April 4, 2013 at Woodbriar Nursing Home in Harrisburg.

Don was born October 8, 1935 to the late Searcy “SA” and Ida Stout Henry in Walnut Ridge. He served his country with the US Navy, before marrying the love of his life June Hall on October 10, 1959. He retired from GE, and was a member of the Valley View Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Searcy “SA” and Ida Stout Henry.

He is survived by his loving wife, June Henry of the home; two daughters, Lesa Casper and her husband Leonard and Donna White and her husband Rick; three grandchildren, Mallory West and her husband Chris and Meghan White and Zach White all of Jonesboro; two brothers, Jake Henry of Walnut Ridge and Randal Henry of Nashville, TN; and sister Sondra Sherman of Charleston, SC; and a host of other family and friends.

The visitation and service will be private with Michael Meredith officiating. Burial will follow at Keller’s Chapel Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
