Donald Forehand

Donald Lee Forehand, 81, of Brookland passed from this life on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center. He was born to the late James and Esther Forehand on September 5, 1941 in Brookland. Donald retired from FMC after working for them for 32 years and the worked for Jets after he retired. He enjoyed watching the news, hunting, and fishing (especially when he was younger). His family is the love of his life and it brings him no bigger joy than to spoil his children and grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by his sisters, Francis Noblin and Opal Caudle.

Donald is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patsy Forehand of Brookland; sons, Alfred Forehand (Patricia) of Lunsford and Michael Forehand of Brookland; daughters, Teresa Henson of Hardy and Jennifer Walker (Robert) of Brookland; brother, Cecil Forehand of Paragould; sisters, Jean Gandy of Brookland and Eula Forehand of Brookland. Donald also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 -2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Emerson Funeral Home.

A graveside service will follow the visitation at 2:30 p.m. at Pine Log Cemetery with Jeff Heitman officiating.
