Donald John Deis, Jr

Donald John Deis, Jr 62, passed from this life Friday, August 30, 2019 at his residence.  He was born June 24, 1957 to Donald Deis, Sr and Ella Faye Clark in  Malden, MO.  Don was a senior marine technician for Hoglands Marine and

Gladish Marine. Don enjoyed riding motorcycles cross country.  He rode the Dragon’s Tail in North Carolina.  It was said that he had a honest laugh; he just enjoyed life.  Don was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.  He is preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother.

Survivors include his wife, Lelia of the home, former wife and life long friend Peggy Deis; children; Christian Deis and Colleen Deis of Jonesboro, Brian and D.J. Deis, Michael McDonald all of New Jersey; sisters, Donna Stevenson of California, Cathy Carstens of Jonesboro, Vickie Pearson and Debbie Hardison of North Carolina; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
