Donald C. Trice

Donald Trice, 90, a lifelong resident of Jonesboro, died Friday at St. Elizabeth’s Place in Jonesboro.

Mr. Trice was the general manager of M.E. Carter Company of Jonesboro where he was associated for 48 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Jonesboro where he was a deacon and a volunteer in the food service ministry of the church. He served several years on the Board of Salvation Army.

Mr. Trice was a U.S. Army veteran of W.W. II and was preceded in death by his wife, Joan, a granddaughter, Donna Cathcart, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Survivors include:
2 Daughters: Lisa Trice, and Susan Cathcart and her husband, Fred, all of Jonesboro;

1 Granddaughter: Natalie Cathcart of Germantown; and

1 Sister: Bonnie Feild of Jonesboro.

Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3:00 at Jonesboro Memorial Park with Dr. Bruce Tippit officiating with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will follow the service in the fellowship hall of First Baptist Church.
